2. The student leader participates in a service activity or project to serve a specific need of others. 3. The student leader experiences and recognizes the benefit of serving others. 4.The student leader demonstrates empathy for, and an awareness of social, cultural, and societal norms for diverse locations and populations. -Evidence: As a senior in the Agriculture Science program at Tracy High School, I must complete a senior project. For my senior project, I wanted to bring awareness to wild horses and burros by training a wild horse. I experienced and recognized how I can help wild horses and burros but taking a wild horse in as my own and taking care of it as well as learning how to help wild horses and burros through donations. |
Standard 1: Authority and Governance
5. The student leader contributes to committees and/or councils and recognizes how the committees and/or councils benefit the student leadership team. - Evidence: During my senior year, I have been put into dog pound committee. In this committee I have and share the role of spirit commissioner. Having this role in the dog pound committee, I create dog pound themes, crafts, posters and planning. As well as showing up 1-2 hours early to set up dog pound. I also recognize how the dog pound committee benefit the students at Tracy High school and how it can be better. Standard 2: Procedures 3. The student leader follows the established chain of command protocol for the student leadership team, the school, and the school district. - Evidence: I follow school and class rules in leadership at Tracy High, such as dress code, behavior, education requirements, etc. |
Standard 2: Fundraising
5. The student leader serves as both a participant and leader in various fundraising activities and employs effective sales techniques. - Evidence: Senior class clothing fundraiser, I was a participant and leader of creating the t-shirt and hoodie design for seniors class of 2023. |
